The essential functions include:

  • Direct community based portion of the RBS arc of care
  • Collaborate with Residential Director regarding delivery of care and cohesive planning between residential and community phases of RBS
  • Work directly with staff in the implementation of departmental practices that are consistent with departmental policies and the agency's treatment philosophy
  • Provide supervision to Youth Specialists, Family Facilitators and/or Leads
  • Direct and be responsible for the overall quality of the agency's community services which includes supervision of children in accordance with public law, state regulations and agency plans and programs
  • Control the expenditure of community services program funds in accordance with approved budgetary plans
  • Perform managerial duties including: recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating department staff; manages performance, conducts performance appraisals and recommends salary increases; takes disciplinary measures as needed
  • Coordinate on-going and new hire training to adhere to state and county requirements
  • Collaborate with County representatives and officials in assuring the delivery of quality programs
  • Other duties associated with RBS implementation as needed
  • Be responsible for collaborating with Director of Systems management, Quality Management Director and Records Technician to monitor, maintain and develop systems related to these departments as they pertain to Wraparound
  • Oversee EPSDT billing and associated paperwork for quality care coordination and documentation compliance
  • Develop training in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Systems Management related to electronic database usage and EPSDT billing in the context of Wraparound
  • Develop and implement  internal systems for Utilization Review
  • Attend non-agency Wraparound related meetings that may be relevant to the items listed above
  • Act as a member of Senior Management Team and participate in overall agency planning and decisions
  • Other duties as required

  • Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment
  • Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

Equipment and Computer Software Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer literate (basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Able to use telephone, office copier, calculator, fax machine, computer printer and scanner, or other equipment as required



  • Use of your personal vehicle is necessary to travel to off-site meetings. You will be responsible for keeping a mileage records and submitting it to your supervisor for reimbursement. Proof of current liability insurance on your personal vehicle must be provided at time of employment and when it is renewed


  • Regularly work indoors in a variety of environments
  • Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens


  • Must have a Masters in Social Work or an MA in a social service related field or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of EPSDT billing and quality assurance
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of clinical issues and organization skills
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
