JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Carries out Mission established by the President/C.E.O. and Board of Directors;

· Facilitate Multiple disciplinary Case Planning Conference (MCPC) weekly meetings;

· Monitor staff case count, weekly notes and monthly notes;

· Assess program and family needs; Coordination of client service referrals and linkage services;

· Maintain current documentation related to case plan goals and other documentation using project protocol;

· Meet with all In-home Outreach Counselor on a regular basis for case review updates and quality assurance on the client files; 

· Monitor data entry of monthly intake, billing, and data collection;

· Actively participate in all program meetings through county and BCC meetings;

· Assist in development and coordination of policy and procedures, special assignments/events;

· Teach parenting classes as needed;  

· Provide adult assessments through Regional and ERCP Up-Front Assessment (UFA) referrals;

· Attend DCFS Taskforce, Community Advisory Council, mini SPA 7 Roundtable, SPA 7 Collaborative Partnership, and DCFS-Roundtable meetings per schedule and;

· Maintain a working relationship with CSW’s, SCSW’s, Program Liaison and CBL’s at DCFS;

· Prepares reports monthly for management meetings; and participate in bi-weekly supervision meetings;

· Facilitates workshops for parents; and

· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job successfully.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

· M.A. /M.S. degree required, registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), and three years experience in related field of social services; 

· Problem solving skills essential;

· Possess excellent written and oral communication skills;

· Must have strong time management, professional demeanor and positive attitude; 

· Have the ability to coordinate with other professionals within the organization; 

· Strong computer skills in MS Office application such as Outlook, Word, and Excel;

· English/Spanish proficiency preferred;

· Detail oriented, dependable and organized;

· Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple tasks at once is required;

· Analytical skills, good judgment to make decisions within policies; and

· Ability to demonstrate group facilitation skills and networking skills. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a reliable automobile for use on the job (mileage to be reimbursed);

·  Valid California Driver License;

· Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment;

· Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science;

· State required automobile insurance coverage; 

· TB clearance, to be renewed every two years; and

· Post employment physical and drug screen clearance required prior to employment.
