The essential functions include:

· Provide supervision for Peer Resource Center (PRC) program manager, program coordinator and employment specialist 

· Conduct weekly staff meetings 

· Oversee operations of PRC and housing program

· Take the lead on establishing and maintaining relationships within the community for the purposes of advocacy and representing the Hillsides Transition Aged Youth (TAY) population

· Engage in the solicitation of donors and organizations to maintain and to grow funding for services 

· Work closely with the Advancement Department to pursue grants and donations related to Hillsides TAY services 

· Participate in the planning, growth and enhancement of services for YMO

· Advocate for TAY population on a continuous basis on a locally, county, state and nation wide level

· Attend various TAY meetings and conferences to continue advocacy and exposure in the community for Hillsides

· Serve as a leader in interagency collaboratives to identify additional opportunities for Hillsides TAY

· Coordinate the mentor and volunteer program for YMO

· Attend YMO board meetings and provide progress reports as needed

· Attend and participate in Family Resource Centers meetings, including management, directors, mental health, staff, trainings, supervisory training seminars, COA related meetings and other committees as needed

· Oversight of DMH mental health contract for YMO

· Is available on-call to YMO staff by phone and email

· LPS (Lanterman-Petris-Short Act) designee duties as part of the management/leadership team

· Work closely with YMO leadership to monitor and maintain all aspects of the program including fiscal and program responsibilities

· Monitor, track, analyze, and report the data being generated by YMO and PRC programs

· Establish and track benchmarks related to youth served through the PRC

· Other duties as required

Equipment and Computer Software Skills and Abilities:

· Computer literate (basic working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Excel, and Outlook) and data/electronic records program in use

· Able to use telephone, office copier, calculator, fax machine, computer printer and scanner, or other equipment as required

· Regularly work indoors in a variety of environments

· Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens


· Masters Degree in Social Work, or Public Health related field

· Clinical license preferred

· Experience providing services to and thorough knowledge of transition aged youth population required

· Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and experience in mental health services delivery, or related health care agency, preferred

· Two years supervisory experience required

· Experience dealing with foundations and donors, and various public health entities required

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of both clients and staff from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds

· Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides’ insurance carrier
