ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include: 

  • Responsible for overseeing the management of Pasadena programs by directly supervising managers, overseeing caseloads, relationships with schools, space negotiation, and district level issues.
  • Responsible for the direct management of the Multidisciplinary Assessment Team Program including reviewing and assigning cases, reviewing summary documents, managing the funding, and supervising assessors
  • Responsible for overseeing the management of the TBS outpatient program by keeping caseload up and managing eligibility
  • Hires, supervises, and trains managers and staff within programs
  • Meets regularly with the Family Resource Centers Director
  • Works with the Family Resource Centers Director in overall planning & development of the Family Resource Centers division
  • Participates in weekly management administrative and management team meetings
  • Work to implement the transition to a HIPAA compliant database system
  • Be available on-call to clinicians by phone, may be required to go out into the field.
  • Other duties as required

  • Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds 

Equipment and Computer Software Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer literate (basic working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Excel, and Outlook) and data/electronic records program in use

  • Able to use telephone, typewriter, office copier, calculator, fax machine, computer printer and scanner, or other equipment as required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly work indoors in a variety of environments
  • Potential minimal exposure to blood borne pathogens

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in a mental health related field
  • BBS registered, and two years licensed in order to provide supervision to unlicensed BBS registered therapists
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing & supervising staff preferably in a social service or related field
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides’ insurance carrier
